Tuition and Fees

Application fee: Your application fee of 35.00 USD must accompany your application. Please remit your check to SCCWYA, and mail your audition materials, application and application fee to:

Tuition: The tuition to attend the program is 855.00 USD. This includes your Farewell Gala Dinner (we are pleased to welcome your family and friends to attend at an additional price), and a CD of the final concert. In order to secure your place in the workshop, a deposit of 450.00 USD must be received within 2 weeks of your acceptance into the program. The balance should be paid by 1 March 2008.

Activities Fee: A one-time Activities Fee of 40.00 USD, which includes all guided tour and museum entrance fees, entrance into the thermal pools of Sarteano and a pizza party lunch, must be included in your tuition payment, bringing the total to 895.00 USD.

Music Packets and Informational Handouts: Will be mailed out in late March to the address that you supplied on your application. Included in each packet will be a map of Sarteano, the daily schedule for the workshop, concert dress codes, and many other specifics. The repertoire will be listed on the website after 15 February.

Please learn your music before you arrive in Sarteano.

Workshop Policies

Minors: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.

Drugs and Alcohol: Participants will use good judgement, and will be alcohol- free for all workshop sessions and planned group activities. Drugs are strictly forbidden.

Attendance: It is expected that all participants will attend all workshop sessions and planned activities.

Getting There: Participants are responsible for all transportation to and from Sarteano. Please click on ABOUT SARTEANO for detailed travel information.

Staying There: Participants and their families are responsible for finding and booking their own accommodations; though we would be more than happy to speak with you regarding hotels, agriturismo, or renting apartments or villas in the area. Please click on HOTELS for more information.

Cancellations: Should the workshop be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be refunded in full. Should you cancel before 31 May 2008, 750.00 USD will be refundable, after this date no refunds will be given.
